Hi, I'm Marlo 👾

... a freelance graphic designer and 3D rendering artist.  Besides layouts and websites, I create high-quality product images and animations based on 3D data. What I love most is making industrial and technical components and products shine. 🔥

read more? Since 2012, I've been working as a graphic designer at HAINZL Industriesysteme GmbH. In the early days, I used to photograph the products and large-scale systems developed by HAINZL. That’s when the idea struck me 💡—why not explore the world of 3D? I started testing various programs, downloading and experimenting until I found the right tools that fit my workflow. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of 3D rendering—combined with a creative eye and passion for details and textures, my visuals have become impressively realistic. Animating these models takes the presentation of the final product to the next level. 👉 Important: I don’t use AI for my renderings. Everything is manually crafted and carefully refined. My renderings complement my graphic design work perfectly, whether it's for layouts, video editing, or building websites. (I’m also an official WIX partner.) So you could say I’m a bit of an “all-in-one” creative package. 😉 I also love art, this is why I sometimes create abstract walldesigns. Currently, I’m expanding my skills in Unreal Engine 5—so stay tuned for even more immersive visuals!
FAQ
what is a rendering? Rendering is the process of generating a realistic or stylized image from a 2D or 3D model using computer software. It brings visual concepts to life in animations, architecture, games, and design. >> find out more about renderings on my renderings-site.
what's needed for renders? First to know: I don't do 3d modeling...yet. So to start a rendering I will need a 3d model of your product. the product don't even have to exist physically. But it is good to know which colors and surfaces your product have or which materials are used. If your product already exist and you want to promote it with pretty pictures or awesome animations then reference pictures of your product will be helpful for a realistic presentation.
how do you create product images without having a physical product? I transform 3D-constructed products into high-quality renderings or animations—creating realistic visuals without the need for physical prototypes. This allows you to showcase your product before it's even manufactured.
Are you using AI for renders? While AI tools are evolving quickly, I currently don’t use them for product renderings. Precise control over materials, lighting, and geometry is essential in industrial visualization—and that’s something only manual 3D workflows can guarantee for now. Every detail matters when it comes to realism and accuracy, and I prefer to rely on proven methods I fully understand and can fine-tune.
